Patchouli Intense Nicolai Parfumeur Createur for women and men - AmaruParis

Patricia de Nicolaï is a renowned perfumer, the founder and owner of the acclaimed niche fragrance brand **Parfums de Nicolaï**, and the current president of the Osmothèque, the perfume museum in Versailles, France. A descendant of the legendary Guerlain family, Patricia was born in Paris in 1957 and grew up in an environment rich with creativity and a deep passion for elegant, classic fragrances, which fueled her own love for perfumery.

She studied chemistry at ISIPCA, the renowned perfume school in Versailles, where she focused on the art of fragrance creation. Rather than joining the family business at Guerlain, Patricia worked at Florasynth and later at Quest International, where she contributed to the development of Lancôme's iconic perfume, Trésor. In 1989, with the support of her husband, Jean-Louis Michau, she launched her own brand, Parfums de Nicolaï. The first fragrance released under the brand, "Number One," won her the International Prize for Young Perfumers by the French Society of Perfumers in 1988, making her the first female perfumer to receive this honor.

Over the years, Patricia has become a leading figure in niche perfumery, known for her creativity and dedication to her craft. Despite her busy schedule as a businesswoman and president of the Osmothèque, she continues to create new fragrances whenever inspiration strikes.

**Nicolai Parfumeur Createur** has a collection of 75 perfumes in the fragrance database, with the earliest release dating back to 1989 and the most recent in 2024. The brand's fragrances are crafted in collaboration with Patricia de Nicolaï and François Robert, maintaining a reputation for quality and innovation in the world of niche perfumery.
